ScoreCenter LIVE Privacy Policy
Effective from July 1, 2020

Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to protecting it through our compliance with the Act on the Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Data Protection of the Republic of Korea. To better protect you privacy, we provide this notice, which explains how and why we may use or disclose your information and the ways in which we can protect your privacy.

1. How and What Information Do We Collect?

(1) How We Collect Your Personal Information
We collect the personal information you give us when you join ScoreCenter LIVE, when you choose to access the site by logging into an other service (Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter, Naver, Kakaotalk) and when you enter sweepstakes.

(2) The Information We Collect
① As you join us or use our services, we collect the following information in connection with providing customer support and other services.
- Required: Your name (or nickname) or ID, password and email address
- Optional: Information we require to provide you with customized services
▶ When you choose to log in to the site through an other service(Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Naver, Kakaotalk),
your name, profile photo, gender, username, user ID (account number), network and other information you choose to disclose.
② We do not collect the required or optional fields described in paragraph ① in connection with any of our services without asking your consent.
③ As you use our services or we operate our business, the following information may be created and collected.
- IP address and information about your cell phone (model name, OS version, firmware version, equipment identification number, etc.)
- access log, list of services used, service errors
④ Only when you choose to enter sweepstakes provided by ScoreCenter LIVE will the following information may be collected.
- Your name (real name), address and cell phone number

(3) How We Collect Your Personal Information
We collect your personal information as follows.
① When you sign up for ScoreCenter LIVE. On this occasion you will be asked to consent to our collection of your personal information.
② When you participate in sweepstakes or promotional events provided by us. On these occasions you will be asked to consent to our collection of information.
③ When you use a platform provided by one of our business partners. On these occasions your information will be automatically collected.
④ We collect your solicited or unsolicited personal information as required for customer support when you join ScoreCenter LIVE or use our services.

2. Why Do We Collect and Use Your Personal Information?

ScoreCenter LIVE does not use your personal information for any purpose other than specified below.

(1) To provide our services
To improve the content and services we provide
- Username (or nickname) is used to show who created content.
- When you create a ScoreCenter LIVE account by logging into an other service, your email address is required; when you create an account on ScoreCenter LIVE. With this ID, you can obtain access to ScoreCenter LIVE.

(2) To provide updates
- We provide you with an email-subscription service. Subscribers receive notification by email when new information is available. You can refuse this service but we are not liable for any disadvantage arising from your decision to unsubscribe.

(3) To develop a new service or conduct marketing
- We may use your personal information to develop new services, develop advertising strategies based on demographic characteristics, test our services, provide information regarding our events or promotions, and identify the frequency and details of your service use.

3. To Whom Do We Disclose Your Personal Information?

(1) We do not provide your personal information to third parties, including individuals or companies, organizations or institutes, beyond the scope set forth in Article 2 above (Why Do We Collect and Use Your Personal Information?), unless otherwise required by law.

(2) We may entrust a third party with processing your personal information. In such a case, we will notify you in advance. To improve our services, your personal information may be entrusted to the following third party.

(3) If we need to share your personal information with or disclose it to our business partners for the purpose of providing various services, you will be notified using an announcement our website or alert message our application no later than 10 days before the effective date, explaining to whom we will be disclosing your information or with whom we will be sharing it, what the main activity of the third party is, and why we will be disclosing or sharing your information.

(4) We may provide your personal information without your consent in the following cases, as authorized or required by law.
① When required to charge fees for services provided.
② When required to provide non-personally identifiable information for the purpose of statistical or academic research or market research.
③ When so ordered by a relevant authority for an investigation.
④ When so ordered to comply with special provisions of relevant laws including the Real Name Financial Transactions Act, the Use and Protection of Credit Information Act, the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, the Local Taxes Act, the Consumer Protection Act, the Bank of Korea Act, the Criminal Procedure Act, etc.

4. How Long Do We Hold Your Personal Information?

(1) Typically we will hold your personal information until your account is deleted. Once you delete your account or the intended purpose of information collection is accomplished, we will destroy your personal information without delay. To prevent any inappropriate use, in compliance with our company policy, we will hold your personal information for up to 30 days after you delete your account, after which your personal information will be deleted completely.

(2) If we are authorized or required by relevant laws, including Commercial Law or our internal policy, to hold the information for an extended period of time after the intended purpose is accomplished, we will hold your information for a certain period of time as set forth by the relevant law. In such a case, we will use the information for only as long as is allowed in connection with the purpose for which it is collected, as follows.
① Records associated with contract or subscription withdrawal
Legal grounds: 5 years pursuant to the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce Transactions, etc.
② Records associated with consumer complaints and disputes
Legal grounds: 3 years pursuant to the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce Transactions, etc.
③ Records associated with identification
Legal grounds: 6 months pursuant to the Act on the Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Data Protection, etc.
④ Records associated with site visits: access log
Legal grounds: Protection of Communications Secrets Act
⑤ Records on the expiration date of personal information-Retention basis: Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.-Retention Period: 1 year

(3) If you request access to your own personal information, held by us in accordance with section (2) above, we will take immediate action to allow you to read and check the information.

(4) In accordance with relevant laws (Article 29 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. and Article 16 of the Enforcement Decree of the Act)
Information of members who have not logged in for more than one year will be destroyed or stored separately.
If you log in more than once within one year, the period of unused is automatically extended, and do not change sleep status or destroy personal information.

5. How Do We Dispose of Your Information?

We dispose of your personal information without delay once the intended purpose for collecting and using the information is accomplished, per the following procedure and methods.

(1) Disposal Procedure
① Information you provided when creating your account will be destroyed after a certain retention period, in accordance with our policy and relevant laws, once its intended purpose is accomplished (see article 4 above).
② Your personal information will not be used for purposes other than that for which it was provided unless otherwise required by law.

(2) Destruction Methods
① Information stored in electronic form will be destroyed by technical means not allowing reproduction.
② Any personal identifying information in hard copies will be disposed of by means of shredding or incineration.

6. Right and Obligation of User and Legal Representative Thereof

(1) This right can be exercised by making a request directly from our website or through a platform provided by one of our business partners in connection with our services.

(2) You, or your legal representative if you are under 14 years old, may at any time request access to or modification of the personal information we hold about you, or deletion of your account.

(3) For access to or modification of your personal information or the information of a user under 14, or for deletion of an account, please make a request through ‘Feedback in Settings’, in ScoreCenter LIVE application or website. After the identification process, you will be able to read or delete the personal information or delete the account.

(4) Alternatively, please contact our personal information manager in writing, by phone or via email and you will be assisted without delay.

(5) In the event that a correction to your information is requested, we will not use the information concerned until the correction is complete. In addition, in the event that incorrect personal information is provided to a third party, we will notify the third party of this circumstance so that a correction can be made without delay.

(6) In the event that you or your legal representative request deletion of your personal information, we will treat the request in accordance with article 4 (How Long Do We Hold Your Personal Information?), not reading or using the information for any reason other than its intended purpose.

7. What Do We Do to Keep You Information Secure?

We have put in place reasonable technical/physical measures to protect your personal information from loss, unauthorized use, disclosure, modification or destruction, as follows.

(1) Password Encryption
We do not collect user passwords for platforms provided by our business partners in connection with our services.

(2) Anti-Hacking Measure
To prevent hacking or other unauthorized access to your personal information, we use an external firewall system. We maintain the highest security level for our server containing your personal information, which is independently managed in an external network. Furthermore, we have a back-up system to protect our live system and data from any contingencies, and run an effective anti-virus program to prevent damage caused by computer viruses. This anti-virus program is updated periodically to provide protection against new types of virus.

(3) Minimization of Privacy Staff
We give authority to handle your personal information to a minimal number of employees and conduct training from time to time to emphasize compliance with our Privacy Policy

(4) Team Dedicated to Privacy Rights Protection.
We have a team dedicated to privacy rights protection which monitors compliance with our privacy policy and takes corrective measures, as required. Please be advised that we are not liable for any damage caused by leakage of personal information, including your platform ID, password, nickname and email address, arising from your carelessness or network connection problems.

9. Miscellaneous

(1) We may provide you with a link to an external website or data provided by a third party. In such cases, we do not have any control over the sites or data posted therein. Thus, we cannot be held liable for or provide a guarantee as to the validity of the services and information provided by the sites.

(2) Please be advised that if you navigate to another site through a link provided by one of our services, you are subject to the privacy policy and terms and conditions of the other site.

(3) You are advised to keep your personal information up to date to prevent any unexpected incidents. You are responsible for damage that occurs due to incorrect information provided by you. Providing false information, including using any personal information of another person, may cause an interruption to or deletion of your account.

(4) You have the right to have your personal information protected, but you also have the responsibility to protect your personal information yourself and not to violate the privacy of others. Please be advised that you should protect your personal information, including your password. If you cause any violation to the privacy or dignity of others by any action, including posting content, you may be prosecuted under relevant laws.

(5) You are solely liable for any interruption in our services or material damage caused by providing incorrect or false information.

10. Additional Provisions

If we make any addition, deletion or modification to our Privacy Policy, we will notify you through our website and application no later than 7 days before the modification/deletion. Please be advised that you will be notified of any material changes regarding your privacy rights, such as collection and use of your personal information or disclosure to a third party, no later than 30 days prior to the changes.
